Raised in the Gospel music tradition of Memphis, Tennessee, Taylor is one of those kids who were too strong-willed, too ADD, too hyper-focused on adventure all the time to exist in tedious classrooms and coded neighborhoods.  Moving to L.A., Taylor produced a Disney artist as well as scored a drumming role in the 2011 Super Bowl Jack-in-the-Box commercial. But, like the tumultuous school years, he is hyper-focused on the one path that will launch his integrated and expressive person into the spotlight as an actor, model, singer, producer, and much more!

Originally dropping out his junior year of high school to drum for a myriad of rock and country bands, Taylor traveled on multiple international tours with Sony Record's rock band Pillar, giving him wide exposure that put him in Revolver magazine alongside Tooth & Nail Record's The Letter Black and eventually landed him with the Grammy Award-winning Peassal Sisters of O, Brother Where Art Thou? fame. After production work in Nashville for celebrity vocal coach, Brett Manning of Singing Success, Taylor decisively stepped off the road as a drummer and onto the stage as a singer-songwriter. In 2011 Taylor recorded his debut EP, The Damage, each song on it having the unique feature of being written, played, and sung by Taylor himself.
