Photographer

Seeking unconventional beauty among the shadows of the human condition -- I got my start as a writer and photographer for one of the early punk 'zines, and continue to specialize in subcultures, documentary portraiture, and street photography. I'm primarily an art photographer, shooting for gallery exhibit, although I accept occasional print assignments.

I'm located on the rugged northen California coast and travel frequently, spending about a third of my time in Chicago and San Francisco. Other cities are visited less frequently.

Exhibits: Over 30 since 1998, including Echo Gallery (Chicago), Steppenwolf Theatre (Chicago), Acorn Gallery (Los Angeles), Morris Graves Museum (Eureka CA), and Bailiwick Arts Center (Chicago).
