Leila Cassandra was born Leila D'Amato in Rochester N.Y.  As a teen Leila moved almost constantly fueling her awareness of multi cultural fashions and styles. Leila always excelled in the field of art and attended International Academy of Design and Technology as a fine arts major in fashion design. As well as fashion design, all forms of art captured Leila's attention, from photography to music. Leila began dabbling in the art of make up in 1999 while attending classes in John Casablanca's women’s professional modeling course. Leila began modeling in 1998 when a local hair salon asked her to model in a commercial. From there all types of doors began opening, over the past 8 years Leila has worked with a plethora of local and national photographers and has been featured numerous times in local magazines as well as Vibe magazine. Leila is the personal shopper and stylist for Detroit's all female R&B group, Rayne. She is also a make up artist and wardrobe stylist for Ambiance Modeling Group. Leila has also owned her own tattoo business "Evil Genius Tattoos" since 2004; she resides in Detroit Michigan with her extremely over weight cat and her perverse sense of humor.
